Hello October...you are one of my favorite months! Fall is in the air and I am loving every minute of it. It was a busy yet fun weekend. Friday night was the 4th Annual City on a Hill Hee-Haw Hoedown at the Red Barn Farm in Weston, MO. This was my second year going and it was a blast. The location is perfect! What is better than spending the evening with friends, BBQ, a hay ride, country music and dancing?! Throw in your best country outfit and that is the making for a great night!!

The beautiful weather on Saturday made for a great afternoon spent in Lawrence with the girls for one last hoorah for Jen before she gets married in a few weeks. Today our Fall tradition of apple picking continued...this was the third year we went apple picking and we went to Fieldstone Orchards. I am looking forward to all the yummy apple goodies I can bake. Hoedowns and apple picking...just a few reasons why I love Fall!!
