...those pumpkins are NOT for you!!
Apparently the squirrels in the neighborhood did not get the memo that the pumpkins on our front porch were for decoration, not for them to eat. When I pulled into the driveway after work, I noticed that one of the pumpkins was missing from the front porch. After quickly scanning the front yard, I noticed it had been moved about 3 feet away and had a large hole in it; the perfect size for a squirrel to stick its head in and pull out some pumpkin seeds (yum!). I also noticed there were four squirrels in our front yard, all of them seemed to be enjoying my pumpkin. Just a few minutes ago, I looked out the front door and noticed yet a second pumpkin had been moved from the porch onto the walkway. Those darn squirrels!! (That may or may not have been what I said!) I thought I needed to show that squirrel who was boss, so I very nicely put pumpkin #2 (now with a few teeth marks on it) back in its place on the front porch. Should we take bets on how long it will last?!

Just in case anyone was wondering, we do have better
decorating sense than just randomly putting pumpkins
on the walkway and front porch. Thank you, Mr. Squirrels,
for adding a little bit of your fall decorating ideas to our house!
Funny! You need Emma to chase them out of your yard.
