We headed south to Dallas for Memorial Day weekend (yes, I'm slow in posting this). Instead of driving southbound 35, Rose and I hopped on an airplane and landed in Dallas in less than an hour and a half. (Gotta love Southwest!!) It was a GREAT long weekend in Dallas! What made it so great, you ask?? Visiting with Jeff and Lindsay, HOT weather, relaxing by the pool, Tim getting his leave approved and joining us, a Texas Rangers baseball game versus the KC Royals and the Rangers winning, Rose coming for the weekend and kicking off her summer vacation, eating lots of really good food, the Fort Worth Stockyards, shopping, Taco and Tamale, and lots more! Here are just a few pictures to give you a glimpse of our Dallas trip...

Thank you, Jeff and Lindsay, for hosting us!! It was great spending the weekend with you both! I can't wait to see you in October for the "Fall Invasion"
