My parents (and Emma) came to visit for the weekend! Like always, it was great having them in town and it never seems to be enough time to squeeze everything in that we had planned. Now that I am in a house, they brought Emma along for the road trip too. The house looked good with a dog! Maybe it's time to get a puppy....??
I had to work on Friday, so Mom and Dad were left to entertain themselves. I came home from work to find that they had washed all the windows on our house!! They even met the neighbors to borrow a ladder. Apparently the windows were pretty dirty! Guess that wasn't something I noticed when I moved in. Highlights from the weekend included planting a few more hanging baskets of flowers for our front deck, having Mom and Dad come watch my Ultimate Frisbee game (it was tournament day), taking them to dinner at the gas station on Saturday night (Oklahoma Joe's BBQ - and yes, it was worth the hour long wait!), Mom helping me finish my purse that the handles were giving me a hard time, getting curtains and pictures hung in my bedroom, Dad washing and waxing the Cruze (with a little help from me), shopping, and just hanging out and talking with Mom and Dad!

We loved our visit!! Can't wait for the next one. Oh....and loved the house! the only bad part was that we missed seeing Rose.
