I never knew I would be so happy to see clouds in the sky as I was driving to work yesterday. I kept looking up at the sky as I was stopped at the traffic lights! Clouds...that could mean a couple things... that we might get some much needed rain or the temperature might cool down a bit. Both of those things would have been wonderful! It's been so HOT here lately...unbearably hot! The hottest it's been in my almost four years of living in Kansas. It was 109 degrees the other day and that wasn't the heat index. (Yes, I'm complaining but it's my blog, so I'm allowed!) Okay...back to these glorious clouds... I stood outside and looked at them for a few minutes before heading into work. Thankfully I had my point and shoot camera in my purse to snap a couple shots. As great as the clouds were in the morning, they didn't last long. They didn't bring any rain or that much cooler weather...it was a nice thought, though...MCP Project 52 - Week 31
