The weather took a drastic turn this weekend and went from being in the 50's on Friday to snow and freezing (literally below freezing) temperatures. Looks like old man winter is here...which makes it feel even more like Christmas! As much as I'd love to live some place where it is 70's and sunny all year long (San Diego anyone?!), I have a hard time seeing Christmas lights/decorations and warm weather...it's just weird to me. So thank you Mother Nature for making it feel more like Christmas! And it came just in time for the 3rd annual ornament party on Sunday evening. I have the neighborhood mom's to thank for this tradition, which I brought with me to Kansas. It was a fun evening filled with great friends, yummy food, wine, Christmas music, lots of laughs and cute Christmas ornaments!! What a wonderful way to end the weekend!
We are missing Kelly in the photo because she had to leave before it was taken. And if you couldn't tell...the unofficial color theme of the evening was teal! Looks like I missed that memo.
