Girl's Weekend!!

It started last Fall with our first girl's trip to Northern Michigan... Shelly, Katie and I had such a great time that we decided to make our girl's weekends an annual event!  The 2nd annual girl's weekend was this past weekend in San Diego and it was a blast!  The weather was beautiful, the palm trees were pretty and plentiful, the pedicure with hot stone leg massage was heavenly and the friends were wonderful!!  Shelly had planned lots of fun events for us, including shopping at Seaport Village, a two hour harbor cruise, a picnic lunch on the beach in Coronado, hiking at Torrey Pines State Park, a visit to the winery and eating yummy food at the Melting Pot, the Wine Vault and Extraordinary Desserts.  Here are just a few photos from this great vacation...

I thought these trees were really cool looking

Becky and Liz.  We all enjoyed the sun a little too much!

Pretty...see why I love San Diego?!

Thank you, Shelly, for being a wonderful hostess and planning such fun events!  The 2nd Annual Girl's Weekend to San Diego was great.  We have even decided that we might need to make it a semiannual event!  Maybe it is time to start planning the next trip!

  1. What a great time! San Diego is beautiful. To be able it with good friends makes it even better! My brother, Tim's Uncle Tom, was on the USS Midway during the Vietnam war. He was enlisted and worked in the "Ready Room" where the pilots got ready for their flights. Thanks for the pics!
