Girl's Weekend Road Trip!

What happens when you combine a road trip to St. Louis, the Pioneer Woman's book signing, meeting her and Marlboro Man, dancing in the hotel lobby, the PBR and Cowboys?!  That pretty much sums up an awesome girl's weekend with Rose, Alli, Mom, Aunt Mary and Susan.  I haven't laughed so much in such a long time!  

I had never been to a book signing before, but it was a blast!  We met the Pioneer Woman (Ree Drummond) AND her husband, Marlboro Man.  This was also the first time Alli was speechless.  While waiting for our group to be called to meet Ree, I spotted Marlboro Man and we went over to him with our cookbooks to have him sign it on the page with his photo!  Alli was in awe of him and didn't say one word...it was too funny!  

The rest of the road trip included lots of laughs with a trip to Trader Joe's for snacks and wine, line dancing in the hotel lobby (because of course, the hallway was too small) and lots of talking and laughing!  Mom, Aunt Mary and Susan made the trip from Michigan to meet us for the girl's weekend and it was so great that they came too.  They left on Sunday morning to drive back to Michigan and we went to the PBR that afternoon.  Cowboys and the PBR was a great way to end the weekend!
