We have been having a heat wave for the past few weeks with temps in the triple digits! Summer is officially here and has been for awhile now. Just like in the winter, we are trying to come up with indoor fun because it's just too dang hot to be outside. Last night, the original idea was to go to a Tbones baseball game (the minor league team in Kansas) but again, it was just so hot, we opted for bowling. It was great fun! We are not the world greatest bowlers, by any means, but we all had pretty good games. I bowled a 90 my first game and got a strike during the second game! Bowling was a lot of fun and then of course, what else do you do when it's so hot out...eat ice cream. Yum! It was a fun Friday night with the girls.
